|Aims of project:
||The bridge is in the urban area, near the centre of Děčín, above the buildings of a petrol station of Severočeská plynárenská a.s. and complex of buildings of a commercial zone.
After the performance of the construction the method for using the land will not change.
The comprehensive repair includes this main work:
replacement of bridge superstructure, including expansion joints, adjustment of levelling, including connection to communication before and after bridge, restoration of load-bearing construction, renovation of lower construction, concreting of new ledges, fitting of new crash barriers on left and right ledges, fitting of new railings, replacement and addition of traffic signs.
In the first stage there will be a reconstruction of the bridges SO 201 Southern Flyover, S0203 Northern Connection, S0205 Northern Bridge via the railway station and S0207 Kamenická Ramp. In the second stage there will be a reconstruction of the Southern Flyover, S0202, Southern Ramp, S0204 Southern Connection and S0206 Southern Bridge via the railway station.
The design for the repair is made out in compliance with the conclusions of the diagnostic survey in such a way that the existing faults are eliminated and so that the bridge construction complies with current regulations, i.e., so that the bridge equipment is replaced and the existing construction renovated. As part of the repair of the right bank flyover the insides of the chambers of the load-bearing construction will be illuminated and wired for electric power. The construction site will be located on the surface of the bridge and its essential surroundings.

The subject of the objects are activities eliminating the above faults, i.e., replacement of equipment and renovation of all parts of bridges and supports. One part of the repair is the replacement of the existing pipe drainage.
SO 208 Engineering networks grid
The subject of the object is the renovation of the existing engineering networks grid which is mirrored between the reconstructed Northern Flyover and SO 201 Southern Flyover along its entire length and in its first two fields
SO 301 Drainage Southern Bridge, 8M and 8E
This object consists of an adjustment of the drainage from the immediate surroundings of the contact of the already reconstructed parts of the right bank flyover of the road bridge across the Elbe in Děčín Northern Bridge (NB) and Northern Flyover (NF). The design for drainage also concerns the landscape section of the Southern Bridge (1M) near the contact with SO 201 Southern Flyover.
S0 441 Street lighting – operational alterations
The subject of this construction object consists of assembly and construction measures in the cable network of street lighting of the right bank part of the town which ensure the possibility of separate powering of the remaining part of the bridge from this side. Then, once again in the context of this SO, it is possible to dismantle the street lighting of one separate bridge and the connecting cabling along the existing crossing between both bridges.
SO 442 Street lighting – 1st stage – definitive state
The object contains reconstruction of the street lighting. This means both the construction of a new lighting system on a steel construction between the bridges, and the performance of new cabling and subsequent dismantling of the lighting system on the other bridge after a restriction of traffic. This new electrical wiring will also respect the conditions for the protection of the bridges from stray currents.
|Course of construction:
||The construction was implemented on the existing object and in its immediate surroundings, there was no assumption of permanent interventions in neighbouring lands. There were no permanent changes in the current state of the territory. In the case of intervention in neighbouring objects and lands caused by the essential needs of the construction, these were restored to the original condition. Traffic alterations were discussed in advance with the Police of the Czech Republic in Děčín. The Police of the Czech Republic required the concurrent closure of Kamenická Ramp. During construction there was no increase in noise level near the bridge as a result of the performance of building work, operation of construction machines and transport of material as the used machines and vehicles had to comply with the emission limits. The effective measures for limiting dust generation and preventing pollution of roads beyond the boundaries of the construction were adhered to. The repair of the bridge could be divided into the following parts:
● replacement of bridge superstructure
● renovation of load-bearing construction
● renovation of lower construction
● repair of steel grid of engineering networks (SO 208)
Through the processing of a detailed timetable of project implementation handover for early use was ensured for the 1st and 2nd part of the work, and no traffic closure in the winter was allowed. The construction is about to be completed, and it is assumed that there will be successful official approval for use.
